VROU Healthy Water for Women & the 64 oz Challenge

I was provided with 3 bottles of VROU Water for Women, for review purposes; all photos and opinions are my own.

As I have watched friends and family grow older, I have realized two things; one-that I’m getting older too, and two-that we all need to take really good care of ourselves. To that end, I cut way back on my soda-intake a couple years ago; I went from one or two sodas at lunch every day, down to only one or two a month.

Recently, I joined up with several others on Twitter to take the #64ozChallenge. A small group of us are offering support and accountability as we challenge ourselves to drink sixty four ounces of water every day for a month. The challenge was started by Pepper at Pepper Scraps; she even created a great printable to use.

Growing Older, Staying Healthy

Since starting the #64ozChallenge, I have definitely noticed some changes in my body. Aside from more frequent runs to the bathroom (keyword “run!”), I’ve seen a huge improvement in my skin, nails and hair.

After the first week, I decided to start taking my vitamins again (on a more regular basis for a change), and I seem to have overcome that afternoon slump–I’m attributing the vitamins to this effect.┬áThe only problem I’ve had is that first thing in the morning, when I take my vitamins–they will upset my stomach for about an hour or so. Enter VROU Water for Women.

Moos is a former professional soccer player, who was trying to find affordable, convenient nutrition products to fit into her busy lifestyle. She took up the challenge and, working with nutritionists and doctors, ended up creating VROU Water for Women.

I was provided with 3 bottles of VROU to taste–Pineapple Mint, Orange Guava and Cucumber Lime; and all 3 are delicious. The flavor combinations sounded a little different at first; but once you taste each one, it may be hard to pick your favorite.

VROU is naturally flavored, with no artificial sweeteners or flavors; plus it’s gluten-free, dairy-free, caffeine-free and all the ingredients are certified kosher and processed in a kosher facility. With only 5 calories, its not going to expand your waistline either.

  2. I started clean eating a month ago, and part of the plan is to drink at least 64oz of water a day. I have seen huge differences too – most noticeably, better skin and weight loss.

  3. So true! I feel full (instead of feeling like I have to eat) in the afternoons now too, so I’m hoping to see a little weight loss as well!
