Living Well Wednesday–February 1, 2012

Thank you for joining us for another week of Living Well Wednesday, a weekly blog hop  started by Natalie Colinson where we focus on achieving our 2012 goals ONE WEEK AT A TIME!  Please join us each week as we share our woo hoos and boo boos; giving each other encouragement and consolation.

This week, I’m hoping to jump back on the bandwagon with the rest of my blogging buddies.  The last couple of weeks have been brutal–trying to keep up with everything that’s been going on.  Like anyone else’s life, there has been good and there has been bad–it just seems like things have swung way off to the edge of each end of the spectrum for me (and my family).

Health Scares

First there was a health scare with my Father.  Apparently he had been keeping things under wraps until he had more information–so my brother & I were hit with the news a couple weeks ago; and we all nervously waited for the CT Scan to tell us how bad things might be.

Fortunately, although he does have cancer, the doctors feel that it is treatable and he will recover!

Then another friend of mine lost his father.  It was very tragic and very sudden; I don’t want to intrude on the family’s privacy, so I will just say that I wish there was more I could do for him and his family.

Good Things Happening Too

After making several New Year’s resolutions, I’m happy to say that I am keeping some of them. I’ve managed to thin my closet a little–donating items to a worthy cause; I’m in the middle of reading 2 different books; and the dog is happily walking the neighborhood on a regular basis!

The Law of AbundanceI’ve also followed the “instructions ” for a post by Lynsey Jones, The Party Plan Coach, on The Law of Abundance;  and have been pleasantly surprised at my results.  I will definitely be posting more about all the good fortune that has been coming my way.  If you haven’t had a chance to read this post, or to give it a try–I would suggest everyone take a look at it.

I was skeptical, but have found a lot of things have been going my way lately; besides, what have you got to lose?  If you do decide to participate, or are currently experiencing your own Abundance, leave me a comment.  I’d love to hear your thoughts too!

  1. Its actually a picture of a cancer cell–strange isn’t it! Thanks for stopping by Carla!
