Knott’s Berry Farm Goes Pink for the Cure

Go Pink for the CureFor the second year in a row, Knott’s Berry Farm and Susan G. Komen Orange County are working together to raise money for breast cancer awareness, services and research. I was recently invited to attend a special event to help Knott’s go Pink for the Cure, and hear my inspirational, genuine and strong-beyond-words friend–Jaime Jenkins from Polka dots on Parade–talk about her battle with this disease.#KnottsPink #FortheCure

Did you know that studies have shown 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer? That statistic alone should make you take every woman you know in for a checkup.

How Can You Help?

Knott's Berry Farm limited editionStarting January 5 through March 27, 2015, Knott’s Berry Farm is offering a special limited edition “pink ticket,” with a portion of the proceeds going to Susan G. Komen Orange County (only available online at . You can also buy limited-edition “pink” merchandise from January 10 through March 27, 2015.

When you go to Knott’s, be sure and check out all the fun Pink for the Cure displays around the park. From the beautiful pink ribbon stand at the main entrance, where you can take your picture, to the flowers and pink-shirted Peanuts characters–Knott’s Berry Farm is pink for the cure.

At night, you’ll still be seeing pink around the park; as the Camp Snoopy Waterfall, the Calico Mine Ride, and the main gate entrance will all glow pink too.#KnottsPink Logo#KnottsPink #ForTheCureKnott's Berry Farm Peanuts#Knott'sPink #FortheCure

Do you have any plans to visit Knott’s Berry Farm this Spring? If so, you should definitely get your “pink” tickets soon; that way you’re helping support a great cause, on top of having a blast at one of Southern California’s exciting amusement parks.

I want to thank Knott’s Berry Farm and GigaSavvy for allowing me to attend this event.

  1. Oh I saw all the great posts from the event. I am a huge fan of Jamie and she is an amazing person, and inspiring through her fight. I just hate that cancer strikes so many people and I hope they find a cure soon. I love that Knott’s is in on the fight and a huge supporter of the SGK foundation. I love seeing all the pink too!

  2. It was great to see all the supporters there too; for Jaime, Susan G. Komen & all the other survivors. It was truly an inspiring event. Thanks for stopping by!
