The Outlets at Orange–Fall Fashion for Less

Fall is definitely in the air and it was clearly on everyone’s minds on Thursday, October 4th at the Outlets at Orange.  The mall held a special Tweet Up event to rev up interest in their Fashion Wing and the new Fall merchandise available there.

The weather had been downright roasting earlier in the week, but as the sun went down and guests began to arrive–we were all commenting on the chill in the air.  Of course this just made it easier to get in the mood to check out sweaters, boots and scarves at places like Neiman Marcus’ Last Call, Nordstrom’s Rack and Saks Off 5th.

Back to the Party

We started out by checking in and picking up our bags (to be filled up as we progressed), then snacked on delicious fare from Lascari’s and Cafe Tu Tu Tango.  There were party games (a scavenger hunt at Neiman’s), creating fabulous fall outfits at Saks Off 5th, and a fashion show at Nordstrom’s Rack.  We tweeted and sent photos to Instagram and enjoyed a colorful sweets bar from Sweets from Heaven.

Deals & Ideas

Fall is definitely my favorite time of year when it comes to shopping; and this year’s fashion forecast has all of my favorites; from leather and faux-fur to jewel tones and colorful jewelry; from soft, luxurious knits to military and equestrian styling–all of it accented with bright pops of pink, plum and magenta.

Boots and booties were on sale at Neiman’s, but I was more excited to find my all-time favorite NYDJ jeans in my size that I decided to save my boot purchase(s) for my next paycheck–although I did get a gorgeous pair from Loft online just the week before!

The evening ended with some fabulous give-aways ranging from gifts cards to an overnight stay at the DoubleTree Hotel.  I can’t wait to get back to The Outlets at Orange to finish up my fall wardrobe shopping, and plan to end the evening at Cafe Tu Tu Tango’s late night Happy Hour.

Let me know some of your fall fashion faves and where you plan to find them–maybe we can meet up and shop together!
