Hi, I’m Ann—the face behind ABC Spa Escape 4U, the creator of Ann About Town, and (hopefully) someone you will want to get to know better. I have been writing since I was a child; poetry, fiction, prose, magazine articles, journals, and now this. Southern California has always been my home; moving back and forth from Los Angeles County to Orange County and now back to Los Angeles County. Most of my family—parents, sister & nephew—are in Texas now, but I visit them regularly. Dad lived near Albuquerque, New Mexico, although he recently died of cancer; and my brother and his wife about a mile away from me.
I’m divorced with a full house (including a roommate, 1 dog and 3 cats). I work full-time during the week, and have my own direct sales business featuring BeautiControl products. I have friends, family and a significant other; all of which will probably show up here in story form from time to time.
There are lots of things I love: reading, writing, travel, photography, shopping, wine-tasting, hanging out with friends and making new ones; this list is endless. So I hope you’ll stop by often to see what I have to say, and please leave me a comment or two; let me know if there’s something you’d like to hear or want to know.
